Welcome to Imaging The South 

The Imaging the South group (ITS) was founded in 1995 by Dr Johnny Walker. 

The group is Australia' s most technologically advanced diagnostic imaging team and is recognised for innovation, having devoted itself entirely to regional, rural and remote point-of-care for diagnostic imaging services.

At commencement, ITS was operated by a single radiologist, two ultra-sonographers and one typist and accounts clerk. Today, the group employs just under 100 full-time equivalents throughout a network of clinical bases in regional and remote Western Australia .

Imaging the South is one of Australia 's most progressive diagnostic imaging groups. Our Centres provide General Radiography, Computed Tomography (CT), Ultrasound, MRI and Nuclear Medicine services.
