ITS proudly remains a wholly West Australian owned and independent diagnostic imaging network, with a commitment to bringing “metropolitan standard” services to non-metropolitan communities.  This vision has driven a culture of telemedicine innovation that has now matured as a key strength of the group and brings the added benefit to remote communities of real-time access to the world’s leading medical opinions 

In this sense, ITS has achieved more for the communities in which it operates than diagnostic imaging access.  For example, in the Goldfields region (the X-Ray West practice), the team has made an active contribution to the betterment of indigenous health care and has been recognised with the international presentation of research studies centred on cardiac and renal disease management innovations for remote communities 

Despite the challenges of scarce specialist personnel and the high costs of diagnostic imaging equipment, ITS has achieved its vision and earned industry acclaim.  From small beginnings, the group has attained competitive strength and been recognised by the broader business community with the following achievements:

• 2002 Telstra West Australian Small Business Awards, 'Cisco Systems Innovation Award'

• 2002 South West Small Business Awards, ‘Best Business with 100 or Fewer Employees’

• 2002 South West Small Business Awards, 'Staff Management Award'

• Certification in 2000 under the International Customer Service Standard (ICSS 99:2000). The group was both the first diagnostic imaging practice in Australia and the first West Australian company to attain the standard.

• First Australian diagnostic imaging business to be awarded QAS ISO 9002 accreditation (April 1998).

• 2007 West Australian AMP Innovation Award Winner.

• 2007 West Australian Hudson Business Award Finalist.
