Dr Johnny Walker - Managing Director

Johnny is both a medical entrepreneur and dual qualified Radiologist and Nuclear Physician. He is an Australian medical graduate and a Fellow of The Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Radiologists. Johnny has a vast amount of clinical and business experience having founded Imaging the South in 1996 and our sister company Global Diagnostics in 2000 which is based in the UK and built the combined entity from scratch in 10 years. Johnny is based in London and heads up The Executive Management Team for Imaging the South and Global Diagnostics.

 

Angela Whittington - Chief Executive Officer

Angela heads up the Australian operation of the Imaging the South/Global Diagnostics group (http://www.globaldiagnostics.co.uk).

Angela has dual post graduate qualifications in management and accounting and spent 10 years at Rio Tinto working in strategic management and international marketing before joining the Imaging the South group in 2002.  At Imaging the South she is responsible for all aspects of the business including operations, HR, marketing, IT and finance.   While her formal qualifications are in marketing and finance, she has a working background of 10 years experience in resources and over 4 years in the health sector.   In 2002 she was Western Australia Rural Women of The Year and an inaugural winner of the 40 Under 40 Award for her small business enterprises.  In 2007 she was again a recipient of the 40 Under 40 award for her position as CEO of Imaging the South.

 

Dr Nick Pang - Clinical Director 

Nick is an Australian medical graduate, and also a fellow of the Royal Australian New Zealand College of Radiologists.  Nick finds diagnostic imaging in regional Western Australia, to be a fascinating and dynamic specialty to be involved with.  The MRI scanner based in Bunbury, is one of the cornerstones of the practice for which Nick is the supervising MRI radiologist.  As clinical director of the largest non-corporate West Australian imaging practice, he is pleased that the practice has achieved level 3 accreditation of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Radiologists/National Association of Testing Authorities accreditation in 2006 (at Bunbury site - South West Health Campus, and also for the Mandurah site at Peel Health Campus).  These practices are the first and only West Australian sites to be accredited.  Accreditation use for all the imaging modalities (plain imaging, ultrasound, fluoroscopy, mammography, MRI, intervention and nuclear medicine).

Nick is extensively involved in medical teaching of junior doctors and other specialist.  He is an active participant of the rural and regional radiologist videoconferencing program.  He is also an active member in the number of committees at St John of God Hospital Bunbury, Bunbury Regional Hospital as well as an active member in the multidisciplinary breast meeting held a monthly basis in Bunbury. 

 

Cathy Butler - Human Resources Manager

Cathy joined ITS in June 2005.  She is a CAHRI with over 20 years HR experience in a variety of industries including Banking, Media and Resources.

 

Don Wilson - Chief Radiographer

Facilities Officer and OS&H Officer with Imaging the South
Resident of Bunbury since 1980 and involved in radiography since then, CT scanning since 1986 and ?still learning something new every day?.

 

Dean Riegert - Northern Captain

Dean heads up the northern area, covering our Peel Health Campus and Boundary Road/Randell St Mandurah practices.
