Federal Minister Senator Stephan Conroy and Western Australian Minister Francis Logan visit Imaging The South 

Senator Stephen Conroy, Federal Minister  for Broadband, Communications and the Digital Economy and Western Australian Minister for Energy, Resources, Industry and Enterprise, Francis Logan, were in the south west to launch the new Bush Medivac WA (BMWA) Project at Bunbury Hospital.   The two Ministers visited ITS radiology department at the South West Health Campus for a first hand look at how we use our communications platform within rural and remote WA.   ITS Clinical Director, Dr Nick Pang, reported an X-ray from the Pilbara in real time using voice recognition.  The Ministers were certainly very impressed with what they saw in operation before them and commented that it was a excellent working example of how communication technology could be used productively in regional areas.
